Richard holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) degree
(2016) and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Studies degree (2002) both
from Kenyatta University. His other professional qualifications include Management
Development program at Strathmore University, a Certified Public Accountants of
Kenya (CPA-K) and a Certified Credit Professional (CCP-K).
Richard is a seasoned professional in the Insurance Industry with holistic knowledge
and experience of over 20 years gained from working in both General Insurance
(short term) and Life (long term) Insurance operations. He began his career in year
2002 at UAP Provincial Insurance (now Old Mutual) as a Branch Underwriter and
rose through the ranks to become a Finance Manager and later as an Acting
Managing Director for the Life Business unit. In 2015, he joined Fidelity Shield
Insurance Company as the Head of Finance and Administration. Thereafter he was
appointed as an Acting Managing Director and later confirmed as a Manging
Director and Principal Officer in April 2023.
Richard is a highly collaborative and visionary leader with demonstrated record of
building long-term relationship and confidence with intermediaries for business
sustainability and growth. He is passionate about operational excellence, strategy
formulation and execution, coaching and empowering leadership team for superior
results. He has an excellent track record in culture change transformation and
innovation around processes, distributions, and product development. He also
possesses extensive knowledge and experience in building sound control
environment, risk management & compliance, governance framework, balance
sheet management, wealth management and investments.

Anthony’s experience working in the Insurance industry exceeds 25 years, both as an underwriter and marketer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Financial Services) degree and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII). He is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII- UK) and the Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK)

John has over 12 years’ work experience in Finance and Insurance. He holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree, a Bachelor of Education Arts (Economics & Business) degree both from Kenyatta University and an International Diploma in Enterprise Risk Management (IRM). He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Kenya Institute of Management, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and a graduate member of the Institute of Risk Management (GradIRM).

Mercy has over 18 years’ work experience in HR. She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology (Counseling) degree from University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Arts (Cultural Studies) degree from Moi University and a Higher Diploma in HRM from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM-K). She is a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK), a full member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM-K)

Sammy has over 15 years’ work experience in the Insurance industry. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance) degree from University of Nairobi and an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII). He is an associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII-UK) and the Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK).

Patrick is a holistic insurance practitioner, with in-depth experience in Underwriting, Reinsurance, risk management & Operations with over 7 years’ Experience. Holds a bachelor’s in actuarial science with IT & Currently Undertaking Masters in Statistics in University of Nairobi (UON). He is an Associate member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK) and has various certifications such as Certificate of Proficiency in Reinsurance from Zep-Re Academy, certificate from Africa Re Young Insurance Professional Program (YIPP), among others.

Further Patrick is passionate on Data analytics, process refinement & client centered solutions formulation.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Commerce (insurance) degree from The University of Nairobi, Diploma in Insurance (AIIK) & Certificate of Proficiency (COP) from The College of Insurance. He is also a member of The Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK). He has over 10 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry and has extensive knowledge and expertise in Underwriting, Business Development, Marketing, and customer experience. He has undergone several trainings in Leadership, Sales Effectiveness, Corporate Governance and is a ‘Bullet Proof’ Manager, having completed Bullet Proof Manager course offered by Crestcom International. Roy is passionate in offering unique solutions to customer needs and making positive, lasting impact in society.

With over 25 years’ working experience in the Insurance industry both as an underwriter and in brokerage, Nhaaman holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) degree and a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance) degree, both from university of Nairobi, and a Higher Diploma in Insurance from Insurance Institute of London. He is an associate member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK) and the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII-UK). Nhaaman is currently pursuing PhD course at The University of Nairobi.

David has over 18 years’ work experience in the Insurance industry. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Insurance (ACII). He is a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK). David has an extensive array of skills in Underwriting, Risk mitigation, Business Development and Customer Service. He has undertaken various short term Technical and Leadership courses and an alumni of the Centre for Corporate Governance.

Terry has over 20 years’ work experience in the Insurance industry. She holds an Executive master’s in business administration degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Technology, a Bachelor of Arts (Education) degree from Egerton University, a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) from College of Insurance. She is an associate member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (AIIK), a full member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) & a member of Kenya Women in Insurance (KWIIN).

Steven has over 15 years’ work experience in the Insurance industry and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (Marketing) from the University of Nairobi. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing (CIM-UK) and a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK) from the College of Insurance.  He is currently undertaking a Diploma in Sustainable Marketing (CIM–UK). Rosemary has over 15 years’ work experience in the Insurance industry. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance) degree from The University of Nairobi, CII Level 4 Diploma in Insurance from The Chartered Insurance Institute London and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management) degree at Kenyatta University. She is a member of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK) and the Kenya Women in Insurance (KWIIN).
